Forget city centres filled with Primarks and Marks & Spencers and start thinking main stages, headline DJs, terrace parties, freestyle skiing displays, restaurants, french street food markets - and that’s just the start of it at Snowboxx 2015. After a full day of tearing it up on the mountain, all slopes lead straight down into the heart of the city centre. Grab yourself an ice cold beer or a warm vin chaud and soak up the late season rays. When the sun comes down the city centre comes to life, with lights, music and snow. The City Centre is the hub for all the main parties, events and other Snowboxx flavoured fun. it’s located at the heart of the festival. The area, located right at the top of Alpe D’Huez village, is where all the main slopes pour down into, and is no more than a 15 minute walk away from any of our accommodation.

The Taburle Terrace is a 2,000 capacity stage that spills out onto the snow with a mountain skyline as its backdrop. This is where we bring out our big artists. During the week, the terrace will be open every day from lunch until late, with our finest lineup of DJs stomping the après hours, and the Retro Rentals guys putting on mini competitions, dance offs, air guitar battles and all sorts of other impromptu après madness. For the main events, we will transform Taburle into our main arena - with a huge stage, spellbinding light installations and a soundsystem that will awake the mountains! All our headline artists will take to the stage to play exclusive sets in an unforgettable setting - and the acts are bigger than ever before, with an international array of DJs and bands on show. The Market sits right next to the Taburle Terrace, and will be open all week for those that are looking to take a moment away from the musical madness and fuel the festival fun. There will be stalls serving delicious alpine food and drinks including Tartiflette, Fondue, vin chaud, as well as unique seating areas that will come to life at night… more on this to come!

This is the place to go if you fancy something a little bit different with your friends. The High St has all the indulgences you need to relax your way into the perfect evening at Snowboxx.
The High Street has 3 spas for you to choose from, all within a few minutes walking distance. Let the team at O Des Cimes pamper and indulge you after a long day on the slopes. Massages and beauty treatments are their speciality, but their Turkish Spa, Saunas and Jacuzzi are enough to turn an evening at Snowboxx into pure bliss. Click here for more info. Or transport yourself to the orient at Le Spa. Specialists in eastern & asian treatments, they focus on using all organic methods to make you feel fabulous at Snowboxx! Looking for the Royal treatment? Hotel Spa Royal Ours is the place for après divas that just want to chill out. Turkish baths, whirlpools, saunas and a swimming pool - is there anything more fabulous? After all that pampering your going to need a cocktail right? Luckily on the High Street you’ve got the two best cocktail bars in town. Depending where you want the night to go, you can head to Le Sporting for a delicious cocktail that will almost definitely turn into a late night dancefloor session. Alternatively there is L’Etalon, Alpe D’Huez’s very own rum bar - but don’t worry it’s not all hula skirts and pirates. They’ve got a huge variety of rums and cocktails that will perfectly accompany your evening of indulgence. Round the corner from this is the tea party bar - see the features section for more on that! At the end of a long day on the slopes, take the weight of your feet and head for a dip in the outdoor heated pool! Ice Rink

Is there anything more picture perfect then putting your earmuffs on, lacing up your skates and heading out onto an ice rink as the snow tumbles down? We don’t think so, that’s why every Snowboxx customer gets entry as part of their package.

For those looking to keep dancing past the midnight hour, Downtown is for you. It is one street packed with 5 late opening venues which will be hosted by our incredible resident club nights. All the venues will be open all week, and will serving up all kinds genres and party atmospheres. Smithys is notoriously the central party place in downtown. As well as serving the best tex-mex food in resort (and AMAZING veggie food) - Smithys has a strictly party music policy. No cheese, just great tunes. You will be up on the tables by the end of the night! The late night Le Caves is where the DJs keep the bass rolling until deep into the morning. This place has an electric atmosphere which will satisfy even the most hardcore late night animal.

Zoo bar is one of those intimate venues where you know the party it is always going to go off the hook! And Igloo bar brings the Alpes chic, house vibes to downtown. All styles of music, all within 5 seconds walk of each other, put on your party socks and let's hit the dance floor!

The magic of the mountains is the blank canvas it gives you to create completely mind blowing events and experiences. At Snowboxx 2015 the hills will be alive with all manner of festival filled fun.

With the unrivaled ibiza style terrace parties of the Folie Douce, through to huge art pieces on the snow. You can spend the whole day flying down hundreds of kilometres of pistes and find yourself in some of the coolest parties the mountains has to offer. As well as the big parties, there are some amazing restaurants and bars. L’Altiport is a Michelin starred restaurant in the heart of the mountains - definitely for those that want the ‘authentic’ French Alps experience! The Cabin du Putin is the place if you're looking for something a little more wallet friendly, with a huge terrace to soak up those late season rays. For the ultimate landscape view, you need to head to the Signal. A completely glass fronted, three storey restaurant that looks over the entire valley. Every day there will be something different happening on the mountain. One day a huge art project, the next a retro freestlye competition, and then topping it all off with a world record fancy dress attempt! Check out everything on offer here...

For three nights of the week, we will build a mainstage arena on the Taburle Terrace. The first of these events will be a mountain extravaganza! The floodlit night ski slope will stay open, a huge custom kicker will be built, and the internationally renowned ESF instructors will show off their best aerial moves. Meanwhile the terrace will be alive with music, food, drinks and dancing. The next two events are where you will see the heavy hitters on the lineup take the stage. Last year we had TEED, The 2 Bears, Toddla T amongst others absolutely smash up the main stage. This year we are going bigger, and louder.

The Taburle is our central stomping ground for the week. A huge terrace that spills out onto the slopes, with a huge bar and the BBQ always lit. You will find it at the bottom of most slopes that come back into Alpe D’Huez town, so all you need to do is take off your skis and hit the dancefloor.

The Taburle terrace will have daily parties hosted by our favourite club night brands.
Our first confirmed event is the Retro Rentals Ultimate Disco. Expect the best 80s classics, air guitar battles, and competitions to make a fool out of yourself for stash happening all over the place. More après events will be confirmed in the lead up to the festival!

The reputation of the Folie Douce is known worldwide. Champagne, DJs, dancers, musicians, fireworks - add in a terrace that is 2,500 meters up in the clouds, and you’ve got one of the most ridiculous party experiences in the world. Every day the party starts at 2pm and the champagne starts flowing not long after. Just bring your best ski boot dancing to make sure you impress while the staff keep the drinks flowing. These guys have incredible uniforms with tigers roaring up the arms - you have to see it to believe it!
This place is run by people that will not stop until you are having the BEST. TIME. EVER.

The Folie Douce has a very special party atmosphere. There is nothing else that compares… until you add headline DJs doing special 3 hour après sets!
At Snowboxx, that’s exactly what you get. For two days of the festival we will be taking command of the Folie Douce DJ booth and inviting some very special acts to come down and play. With first release coming late September, we cannot wait to share how incredible this is going to be!

The Downtown clubs and bars will be a genre filled smorgasbord of parties. Each night something different, catering to all tastes! All you need to know is that all the venues are within 20 seconds walk of each other, so you’re never far away from the next party. 2014 saw club nights hosted by Secret Party Project, Future Disco, Troupe, Get Satisfied, Loop, Gold Teeth, amongst so many more. For 2015 you can expect the same level of incredible residents dropping tunes until the early hours.

Take the bliss of an outdoor heated pool - then add a sound system, headline DJs, and a load of inflatables, and you’ve got Snowboxx Pool Parties. The parties will run until 11pm, and if getting your hair wet isn’t your thing, you can just chill by the side of pool with a drink. This event will be ticketed as it’s limited capacity and high demand. Keep an eye out for further info!
